so me and oh can't decide on a pram. I love the Bugaboo but can't justify spending that much when we have 2 other dc and other stuff to buy. what pram does everyone have and what do you like about it? already got a maxi cosi car seat so I'll just need to get the adaptors for chosen pram.

Am afraid my theory on pram buying is that the parent who will be using it most has the final decision on purchase!

We used a baby jogger city mini from birth with a carrycot.

Only time I wasn't so keen is when it wasn't parent facing and ds wasn't so keen on the outside world but I'd still recommend it.

What do you need it for? Off road or cities? Do you have a car or public transport? Ideal budget?

sometimes its best to buy the one you want and best suits your needs 1st rather than trying various cheaper alternatives. I decided on bugaboo bee with dd2 its perfect for me and haven't bought a stroller like many people do. shes 3 now and won't need a buggy much longer. been well worth the money and will get at least half what I paid back. the bugaboos also hold their value v well so can sell once you have finished using it.

I drive so something that folds up into the boot. mainly shopping in town and school run. I love the icandy peach but wanted to know what others thought. I tend to go on looks and not the practicality of it so I'm hoping to get some ideas here. about 500 quid is most I think as I've got my heart set on others things that cost quite a lot like the baby swing and highchair. I had second hand prams with each of my ds' and this might be my last pregnancy and would love a brand new one. also the last two broke on me mid way through town Shock wheels fell off Shock

We had a mutsy with ds and we will be re using it this time round, it was easy to fold, you could attach the maxi cosi, carry cot or seat.

They come on ebay every now and then, new they are quite pricey

Joie chrome. Massive shopping basket, folds up tiny, reasonably priced.

Cosatto have a nice range. I have my eye on the pixelated design

Baby jogger city mini. Or if you can stretch your budget further, Uppababy vista

Oyster Max!! Love it! It can be made into a tandem too, I'm guessing the normal single Oyster would be the same quality. V sturdy, nice big wheels, looks good, big basket.

I am a massive Maclaren xlr buggy fan!!!! No idea about any of the others.
It fits in most car boots. It's not too heavy. I love them!!!

Team emmaljunga here!

Incredibly well built, last forever (our friends have had theirs through four kids and still going) and handles all weathers.

Not for anyone who needs a lightweight pram or needs to carry it up stairs, but if you have space it's great.

Looked at the bugaboos but they just look too flimsy to handle a Swedish winter. They do look nice though and I imagine they'd be city friendly.

We just bought a cosatto giggle 2 which is super light and looks ace but you won't be able to use your car seat with it. Our second choice was the icandy strawberry 2 v similar to the bee and comes with the carry cot and older child's seat.

Has anyone tried out, or know anyone who has tried out, the new "egg" pushchair?

It looks fantastic, and although pricey, it's still cheaper than bugaboo's or the uppababy vista range.

I'm looking to get a bugaboo3 - they hold their value so you won't lose out - they are currently on offer kiddicare :-)

We spent ages on pram hunt and settled on an icandy strawberry 2 as it's parent or world facing, steers well, is relatively light, is maxi cosi compatible and fits in a small car

I'm having DC #4 and I sprung for the uppababy vista. I obviously haven't used it with baby yet, but I LOVE it. With DC 1&2 I had a graco travel system ('twas way before pushchairs became so fancy and expensive!), and with dc3 I had a baby weaver travel system. A good budget buy that looked like the more expensive ones. With this my last, I wanted something practical and well made, but also stylish.

Forgot to say that I also have a maxi cosi car seat and bought adapters to attach to vista frame

I had a cosatto giggle which I had to return as it was a faulty collapsing one but they lied to me and said it was ok when they knew it wasn't. I do not trust Cosatto now and point blank refuse to buy any of their products even though they do look fab

We got a mothercare expedior, it was a bloody bargain and it's still going strong 10 months later

Another team Vista here! I found the reversible handle on the bugaboo Chameleon annoyed me, and we'd trash a Bee living where we do.

Junction did you get your vista 2nd hand? should already come with maxi cosi adaptors?

We've gone for a stokke xplory, £200 second hand
