Just done a very long walk with the school, and now chilling on the bed for a bit. One of the other mums at school is 3 weeks behind me but has a big bump, i am only just reaching bumphood!! Is it possible my bump isnt showing as i was doing lots of abdominal work at pole fitness and had just peeking through the wobble abs?? I was all happy and now im worried again!

On a very hapoy note, we have booked a doula!!

Can I join please? I've been lurking long enough and have been rather superstitious about acknowledging this pregnancy. Anyway, yesterday I had to tell my dentist I was pregnant and today I went for a reassurance scan and all was ok. 8+6 which was actually 4 days further than I thought so now's the time to show my face! Next up I'm going to start worrying about the Harmony Test...

envious, I've responded to you in the old thread but will repeat here too.... Count The Kicks is a charity but they don't actually ever recommend you count the kicks which is quite confusing! Instead they encourage women to make a note of what is a normal pattern for your own baby and keep an eye out for any difference to that pattern. It's so key that women understand not to count kicks because you can quite easily have ten within one minute (like I am now!) Their Facebook page and website is full of excellent information.

Baby phryn is still being a pickle and staying put. Am still having irregular contractions but nothing is ramping up. Had a sweep on Monday and DTD last night but nada. They will induce me a week tomorrow if nothing happens before then.

My work has organised a little treat for us, as a thank you for our hard work in the last few weeks, which are the busiest time of the year for us. And guess what - we are all treated to a wine tasting event! I really appreciate the gesture, but FFS! How am I going to get out of that?! I think I'll have to be ill on the day - or claim that I am on heavy medication that doesn't allow alcohol. Either way I can't go, which is a real shame. But what's the point of going to a wine tasting, if you can't drink?!
