Hello ppl

I'm currently 22+1 and this will be my first child..

Since the past few hours iv started to get pains in my stomach; a really tightening feeling. Sometimes on lower left side and sometimes right. And my back and ribs.

Babys moving fine. Could it just be ligament related or something?

I'm not really worried but curious to what it is. Anyone else had this??

Hi thanks for replying

Are braxton hicks not meant to be painless?

Mind you lying on my back has eased the pain, babys moving alot though..

So clueless to whats normal and whats not..

I'm 24+2 and had exactly the same thing on Sunday. Turned out not only to be a trapped nerve in my back but also round ligament pain!

If lying in a certain position eases it then I would probably say it's some sort of muscular pain your experiencing. Also, Braxton hicks are basically like contractions without the baby coming, so yes they do hurt :)
