Hi all,

I'm currently 21 weeks and we are in the process of moving (again) which is making my antenatal care a bit disjointed. We moved back to my parents (temporarily) at 16 weeks and due to move to new house at 24 weeks.

I just want to check when I should have seen/be seeing midwife. Is this right?

12 weeks - checking in appt & firsts scan
16 weeks - midwife appt
21 weeks - anomaly scan (week late as was on holiday)
24/25 weeks - midwife appt. is this when I get Mat B1 form?

We are due to move when I'm 24 weeks so planning on delaying next appt until we move to new place.

If you look on the I side cover if your maternity notes there is a table that states all of the appointments you should have for your first and subsequent pregnancies (as they are slightly different ).
Hope this helps.

Get in touch with your new surgery asap, before you move to have an idea about appointment times. When i moved I was in my third trimester and had to travel an hour to go to my previous hospital. it took a few weeks to get a booking appointment. And the baby was born before said booking appointment.

Thanks Nolim - luckily my parents place (where we're currently staying) is in the same county as the new house so my hospital will remain the same its just the surgery and midwife which is changing. I will call the new surgery tho and try and get appt for week we move.

Buttercup - thanks. I'll check the massive folder. Annoyingly I have 2 massive folders as we moved from one NHS Trust to another!

You can phone up and ask for your matb1 form if you need it sooner, I did for my work (awkward sods they are). Hope you get sorted x
