Worried about baby's position

I'm 39 week today and my baby was breech up until 37 week. He has been head down but not engaged. I keep feeling everyday to see if he has dropped anymore but today he is higher up and much more towards the right side, his head isn't inline with my pelvis. I'm getting more paranoid about his position everyday. Do I need to worry or am I panicking for nothing? I'm not due to see the midwife until I'm 40 week so just looking for advice here.

Baby can literally get into position overnight - or sooner! My baby was not engaged at 39 weeks but I went in to labour at 39+5 and he was engaged then. He always preferred the right side for some reason before that.

I'm literally so so paranoid about it. Is there a use in me getting an appointment with the midwife tomorrow if I can just so she can talk me through things or is there nothing to talk through? I feel like I'm being silly but I just can't help it Sad

Don't panic! My dd was in the perfect position but then turned around while I was in labour and her head didn't engage until I started pushing.
You could do some exercises- on all fours, that sort of thing but there is not much you can do about it.

My friends baby didn't engage until her waters broke and her contractions started. She had a good labour and popped him out in less than seven hours
