Have you been checked out for it? My spotting was early labour at 32 weeks which was stopped and I was given steroids just in case ( DD ended up staying in til 41 weeks).

Was checked out last week and they were happy enough to send me home but they didn't know what was causing it.It has started again the last few days but instead of getting progressively lighter like last week it seems to be getting slightly heavier now.I rang again and they said if develop abdominal pain, cramping or it gets significantly heavier to come in but otherwise they are happy for me to stay home,as GP checked blood pressure and baby's heartbeat etc this morning.
Baby is sitting very low which they think is what is partly the cause, just the pressure on the cervix.

I've been spotting all through all three trimesters. Had an internal exam at 28 weeks and diagnosed with cervical erosion, not a problem just ought to get a smear test after pregnancy to see if there's any cause of my sensitive cervix.

Yep. I had a few little bleeds/spotting from 34 weeks on.

I went in to get checked out each time and they monitored DDs heart rate etc. I had a late scan to check the bleeding wasn't the placenta. It wasn't so they assumed it was cervical erosion.

Dd was born at 40+4. No other problems with the pregnancy.

I'm sure it will be fine. Make sure you get checked out though.
