Excited and also shaking like a leaf! They popped at 4.44am exactly, as I got up to go to the loo and have been leaking ever since. Mild pains now too. DC3. Due tomorrow but looks like it could be today Smile quick shower and call to maternity ward who would like me to go for assessment once Dh gets home from work (he had to leave just as this all started but will be home asap) sat in bed on a bin bag with a brew and toast.

Woo! Busy day for you ahead. Smile what are your arrangements for dc1 and 2?

I love tea and toast in the middle of the night.

Hope it all goes ok and dc3 is here safe and sound before you know it.

Thanks. Family live locally, they will be looking after the older two. Don't want to wake them yet but will give them a call in an hour or so to prepare them. So glad it's a Saturday and family (other than dh) are off work today. Sat watching rubbish t.v. So pleased I managed a good 6 hour sleep before this happened.

Oh Tuff...I remember this feeling from 24 years ago...knowing that I would have a baby within 24 hours...I was exstatic, scared all at the same time...I will be watching this thread....good luck.x

Have a fantastic and safe labour.
What a convenient day to have a baby, love ease!

Been in for monitoring, everything is fine but contractions are few and irregular so back home now, waiting and bouncing on my birthing ball. If labour doesn't start today I will be admitted in the morning but can't be induced til Tuesday, could be a long few days.

I thought once waters went there was a timeframe that baby had to be born in due to risk of infection? Leaving from Saturday early AM to Tuesday seems odd? NICE guidelines state intervention after 24 hrs due to risks. Did they speak to you about this?

Yes. I am being admitted tomorrow morning regardless of what is happening but there are no slots available for induction until Tuesday. Really hoping I go naturally otherwise it's going to be a long week. Angry

Come on babytuff your eviction notice has been served! Time to leave the tuffgingernut house...I mean womb! Sorry. Coming over all Davina on you!

Good that you'll be in hospital. Absolutely disgraceful that are no induction spots. Maternity care in some hospitals is bloody pre-historic.

Good luck, get bouncing on a ball!
