Cocodamol and diazepam in early pregnancy?

I've just realised AF is about five days late.

I've been recovering from a shoulder injury and taking cocodamol and diazepam daily for 2 weeks.

DH and I have always said that if I accidentally fell pregnant it wouldn't be horrible news, but not something we're actively trying to do.

But now I'm late, my breast are sore and feel huge and I have niggly pains. (Could obviously all be signs of impending AF!)

But should I be hoping for a negative after all the pills I've been taking? Confused

Do you know what the implications of these drugs are though?

three you aint gonna believe this but I was in the exact same cocktail for a week with a goosed back when I think I conceived! I'm only 7+1 but my doctor said there should be no effects on the baby. I think the effects of taking the drugs all through pregnancy would be different (addiction to name but one) but if it's a short period you should be fine (according to the doc!).
hope this helps!

I was on tramadol and pregabalin when I fell pregnant. Been on dihydrocodiene the rest of pregnancy due to fibromyalgia. I'm sure all will be ok x

I don't know about diazepam but I'm 99% sure co-codomol is fine in small doses in pregnancy. It's codeine and paracetemol so fine.
I'm going to see the doc myself this morning to see if I can take those for bulging discs and back spasms and I'm 7 wks pregnant. I'll let you know what they say.

Spoke to the doc on the phone. Diazepam is a no to be prescribed, esp in late pregnancy but I'm not sure what the thinking is about very very early pregnancy. Cocodemol in low dosage can be okay but it depends what strength you were put on.
Speaking to your doc is going to be the best but it may not all be awful :) don't worry x

Update- emergency doc has prescribed both cocodamol and diazepam for me
And my obstetrician has said they are okay to take so you don't need to worry if you are pregnant.
