I had a baby boy 3 months ago via c-section I had him on the Monday and went home on the Wednesday but before I went home I had the injection (contraception) I went for my second one like a week ago but I think I'm pregnant again! I've got all the symptoms I had when I fell pregnant with my first... ive done a test it says negative But i think it's to early to tell... if I rang my doctors and asked them if they could do a test or blood test would they?? before people say 'your on the injection so your probs not pregnant' I already know that so it's not helpful :)

I suspect they would just do a dip stick urine test, and they don't have access to anything more sensitive than you can get in boots.
Combined with the fact you can do a early morning sample, I'd be inclined to say wait a week, and home test again.
I don't think blood tests are much more sensitive - they can just indicate levels, which can be helpful in some diagnostic situations.

I very much doubt they would do a blood test so early if you are getting negative pregnancy tests. Your hormones are probably just up the wall from having your baby and the injection, I'd just keep testing if you keep feeling the same.

the injection itself could be giving you pregnancy symptoms

The tests they use are the same, which is why they don't confirm a pregnancy anymore. I doubt they'll do a blood test based on negative tests. It's probably your hormones due to the injection.

If it makes you feel any better I was utterly convinced I was pregnant from when my dd was 3-7ish months.

I even felt 'baby kicks'! I wasn't, I'm guessing it was just all the crazy hormones from birth and breastfeeding etc plus lots of trapped wind (for the kicks)
