Do you have any pain? Try to rest lots and if you're that worried or get pain, go straight to A&E as Tuesday is a long time to wait. Good luck

I'd get down to A&E anyway, the stress is not going to help.

FX and thinking of you x

Go to A&E or ring EPU and explain you have pain too. They shouldn't be leaving you until Tuesday. Even if you have to elaborate a bit. Thinking of you x

Agree that Tue is too far away and you should go to A&E asap, esp. to rule out an ectopic. Good luck to you and keep us posted! x

I've had this on and off since 6 weeks, am now 10. Plus 1 bright red bleed. 3 scans along the way and baby is fine. EPU are basically only concerned if its bright red, clots and enough to need to change a pad every couple of hours or if you are in lots of pain - more than period type. I know how worrying it is but try not to stress! The first scan I had was to rule out ectopic and that was just gone 6 weeks, for this the nurse was saying pain would normally be on one side which I didn't have but I was at higher risk due to clomid. Take care!

Hi Michelle,
Are you still bleeding? I had this when I was six weeks - wiped and had bright red blood on Fri night and a tiny bit more on Sat morning. I've had cramps throughout pregnancy and didn't notice it being any diff. I rang midwife on the Mon (hubby kept me calm as bleeding eased off so didnt call over weekend) Midwife said prob nothing to worry about and told me to ring GP. GP said same but booked me in for a scan at EPU. I had the scan on Thurs and saw the baby and a heartbeat - everything is fine and was a big relieve - Fingers crossed you have the same outcome as me. x

So sorry you are going through such a worrying time. I really wouldn't go to A&E though as some people have advised. Unfortunately nothing you do or don't do will change the outcome. I would just stay at home where you are going to be most comfortable. However, if you start to bleed heavily (more than a pad an hour), are in a lot of pain, feeling faint, shoulder tip pain etc then that is the time to go to A&E. I really hope that you get good news at your scan on Tuesday and that the next few days go quickly for you.

I had the same last week and it is so scary isn't it.

I saw gp who booked me in for a scan at EPU 2 days later. She was very sympathetic at me having to wait but said that waiting wouldn't have any effect on the outcome and to just rest until then.

She advised I go to A&E if I get pain or heavier bleeding so they can check for an ectopic.

All was ok at the scan but I'm still spotting daily to various degrees almost a week later. She said many women do and not to worry too much.

Fingers crossed all is fine with you and the next couple of days go quickly for you.

Hope your ok, aslong as its not bright red blood/clots, I've always thought it could be a positive sign. I got a lot of pain with this baby, was checked over for ectopic but baby was fine. Still get cramps/pains now and I'm 12 weeks. Try not to worry (easier said than done) fingers crossed your scan is good news tues. Will keep everything crossed for you xx
