Which one of these two would you go for?
I can't decide what to get !!

My daughter chose the Uppababy. My DG is 14 months now and my daughter (and I!) still absolutely love it.

I looked at both when looking, if I was to choose I'd go got the Silver cross as it looks nicer, but the uppababy vista does have good reviews.

To be honest I didn't want something that cost over 500 pound ended up getting The Brittax Affinity was in sale and they have the best car seats around and don't need separate adaptors for the car seat to pram and the car seat came free in mother care sale. :)
Sorry probably not been much help lol.

Thanks you two!
Skyra I've never heard of the pram you mention! I'm off to google it now!
I know- the prices are ridiculous :(

Vote for pioneer here :)

I love mine, got it cheap due to a manufacturer flaw on a tiny plastic bit that you can't even see!

Pram inc colour option was £400. Car seat was £120ish

Very happy & will hopefully see me through 2 kids!

Uppababy, got it 3 years ago for my DD and will use it again from April

We're going for the Pioneer because it's beautiful :) the Vista has really good reviews so that's the one we should go for...
Do you have a John Lewis near you? Our local (Bristol Cribbs Causeway) had the vista display model reduced to £500 as they're bringing out new colours soon.

Yea the pioneer does look better, but I was thinking the same- the uppa baby vista does have better reviews...
I don't live near Bristol unfortunately, but I have got a John Lewis nearby so will have to check it out!

I'd go for the silver cross, they are great and have excellent customer service, mine is really well built, love it!

I am going for pioneer too, just fell in love with it - beautiful pram. Road tested it this week at John Lewis around the store.

uppababy uppababy uppababy... it has been wonderful.
And I did a silly amount of research :-s
The pram top is the best out there as is properly ventilated and well made... they can sleep in it at night too which has been fab - about to get it out again for no.2, yay!

I love my uppababy vista. I can push it with one hand round the supermarket, its smooth on bumpy roads, it folds like a dream, its got a good high handlebar so no stooping when pushing and DD is nice and high up, it comes with sunshades, rain covers and even insect nets, the carrycot can be used as a moses basket at night, and it keeps its value well if you want to sell it afterwards.

We've got the vista and I absolutely love it. Everyone else I know has moaned about some aspect of their pushchair but I don't have a bad word to say against it. DD is 14 months now.

I've ordered the pioneer. I love it so easy to push, can fold & lift it with one hand. What colour will you go for?

I've got the Uppababy ordered for our new baby in March. It was the reviews that made me look at it and in the flesh it was everything we wanted. No other seemed to match for the price and all the extras. We bought from an independent pram shop and so we aslo got a car seat at no extra cost.

I have the vista and I absolutely love it too!!! Just like GotToBe all my friends have some complaints with their prams and I have no regrets.

Another vote for Uppababy, although my baby didn't find the bassinet comfy enough for overnighters as a travel 'cot'. Will see us through another baby no problem. I didn't fork out for the footmuff. John Lewis do some great ones for less than a quarter of the cost.

I bought an umbrella fold buggy for nursery runs/hols etc from 6 months on and would recommend that too if you can - one that reclines fully for naps.

Love my Vista Grin Huge basket, handles brilliantly, bassinet was great, seat is super. DD is 13months but there is stacks of room in the seat still (some friends littles ones look really cramped in their prams). Going to get the rumbleseat when baby #2 arrives, so it'll be a double for a while.

Didn't buy the foot muffs either, but a £25 John Lewis own has been fab

Uppababy is absolutely brilliant! Just be aware that there's a 2015 model coming out in February that does all sorts of fancy new configurations as a double buggy (great if you're planning a second child).

The old version is currently selling for £600 but the rrp for the new one is around the £900 mark. It's worth looking at the differences.

Oh yeah, as Scotinoz says, don't buy the Uppababy footmuff. It's truly hideous. We bought a generic five-point one for much less that is much nicer.

I have a vista it's great!

Also agree don't buy the uppababy footmuff, it's shiny and hideous. We have a buggysnuggle for ours.

I love my uppababy vista! I did a lot of research and this one just seemed the best...& I think it is! We are now about to purchase the rumbleseat for baby #2. I particularly love how smooth it is to push around and the height is great, oh and the big basket underneath is ideal for shopping.

Report
GotToBeInItToWinIt · 09/01/2015 14:17

berrypicking are you going to buy the insert for the newborn? Just asking as I have DC2 due in July and trying to figure out the best way to do things! Sorry OP, thread hijack!
