I'm 12 weeks pregnant with dc2 and already looking at prams! I cant really remember when I started to buy baby stuff with dc1. Should I at least wait until scan or is that still too early. There's so many sales on too! Xx

This is my first pregnancy & didn't buy until after Xmas as wanted to see if anything went in the sale. I now have most of my things & ordered pram a few days ago as it was on a great deal. I'm coming up for 24 weeks. Before Xmas I did not have one single thing!

Buy it whenever you like! We held off buying anything because parents and in laws told us we shouldn't as it's bad luck blah blah blah. At 30-40 weeks we were flat out with work and at 37 weeks my mum was begging me to get a pram. I wished I'd bought it all earlier because we ended up having a baby and panic buying.

I'm 10+3 and already have bought a few outfits in sale. There seems so many good sales on to resist. I'm hoping to buy bouncer, steriliser after scan on fri as they are too cheap to wait, I don't believe they tempt fate, up to you but could store pushchair somewhere until baby is here x

I started early too but then I like to be organised with everything, I'm not superstitious at all and don't believe buying something will cause a miscarriage.

A lot of shops will let you order things, store them until you're ready and give you a full refund if the worst happens, not a nice topic I know but worth knowing you have options.

By about 30 weeks we had everything ready for dd, the nursery was done and we could bring her home and not need to think about having to go out, it was a pleasure to get it all done while I was still physically not too big and really enjoyed it.

I'm 29 weeks and we've just finished the nursery, just waiting for the cot mattress to be delivered.

Think I bought the first outfit at 20 weeks after the 2nd scan but I'd had a mmc in April at 16 weeks so was a bit nervous about buying anything.

Oops, posted to early!

Been told by specialist if my bp isn't playing ball they will deliver anytime after 34 weeks. So far no has been raised even with meds at every point!

We haven't bought much at all. A nappy bin, two outfits, a Moses basket we were given and a packet of six bottles. That's it. Really need to get myself sorted!

I haven't bought anything. I'm 18 weeks.

We got so much crap to reorganise bin and two rooms to decorate that I really don't want to add to the clutter.

Once our room is done I'll think about buying stuff.

If we didn't have so much to do I'd probably have started buying things by now though!
