Checked my fertility chart today (let it lapse over Christmas) and realised I was on day 40. Peed on a stick, the lines were up bold as brass before I pulled the stick out of the pee.

I cried all over DH. We hugged. I threw up. He made me tea.

Now I get to worry myself stupid until I see a scan. Hurrah!

Thank you Crunchie. DH is sitting between shock and grinning away to himself. I can't stop smiling and then fretting, all seems to good to be true.

Thank you Butter.

I've avoid this board as it was a little pin in my side in the past. Is there a thread for those who took a little longer to conceive?

Bait there is such a thread!!

I think it's now on page 2 of the Pregnancy board but it's normally fairly lively. It's called the Berry Copter and is full of women who took a year plus to conceive their first. It's all a big adventure there, as many have been through IVF or similar, or just taken ages to get a natural bfp.

Come join us! smile

Thanks Revolting. I can see there's been some very sad news on the thread today. Have book marked it and will pop my head in in a few days. Feels rather crass to burst in right now.
