Pregnancy

So I know I'm probably being stupid...

But I FEEL pregnant.

DS is just turning one and DP and I have been talking about trying again for DC2.

I'm currently still BF DS and have been diagnosed with PCOS before having DS although the condition of my ovaries was apparently improved by my pregnancy. I do have very irregular periods however but have had two in the past two months which is very unusual for me.

Due to these issues, DP and I decided to just stop using protection and just see what happens. I'm probably getting way ahead of myself but after DTD a week ago I just felt strange afterwards.

This week I feel exhausted (more so than usual with DS!), I keep getting a mild cramping and keep feeling a strange tugging sensation where my uterus is. I just FEEL like something is happening.

Like I say, I'm probably crazy and trying to put no thought into it as I don't want to obsess over every possible symptom. I've bought a test and will POAS in Jan but quietly wonder for now! I just wanted to get my suspicions down somewhere! Grin

Did anyone else 'know' from very early on?

I knew within days. Things tasted different, appetite changed, that feeling of something brewing.

I knew but didn't believe it. I had morning sickness right from the start.

I 'knew' i was pregnant several times but sadly wasn't. I honestly don't think you can tell before symptoms kick in and much as we desperately want symptoms, and get odd things happen each month, they don't really start until 6 weeks pregnant. It will all all likelihood happen and I wish you great luck in having it happen sooner rather than later.

Flowers Gingerbread. Thank you for the luck. I'm quite logical and know rationally it's too early but it's just this odd niggle. I guess that might just be hope though!

I suppose (in an ideal world!) It wouldn't be terrible if it took a while longer than first go with DS still being so little but I would like them fairly close.

DS was a surprise but I ended up doing a test inbetween terrible vomiting (the start of hyperemesis) went for a private scan as due to thinking I couldn't get pregnant due to not having periods for 6 months. I was only 4 weeks at that point and I'd had fabulous (but sore) boobs for a week before the sickness began.

I suppose if it's anything like last time the LO will make their presence known soon enough! Grin

I've just put this exact same post up in the Conception section!
I felt pregnant just a few days after sex around ovulation. A wall of tiredness hit me, and feeling sick.
Yesterday I had a faint positive even though AF only due Monday - Wednesday depending on cycle length for this month.

I've had 6 early mc before my 2 DD's so I'm pretty paranoid about this being a sticky bean, especially so early. So I would recommending holding off to POAS for as long as you can!

The thread is called something like 'did anyone 'know' they were pregnant before testing?' OnConception board, some great replies on it.

Hope you are right and get your BFP very soon.

Ha, how funny blue

I will check your thread out! Tentative congratulations to you and I hope everything continues well!

It's my DS' first birthday today and so I've not had much time to think obsess about any symptoms but I've been cramping again all day so starting to wonder if it's just my period on the way Sad

I still feel 'weird' though. Patience is my friend here I think!

fingers crossed for your BFPs ladies - the link to blue's thread is Here

i also reckoned i 'knew' from about 7days after DTD but waited until AF due to test, i liked having my own little secret for a wee while :) we hadn't been TTC and i must have ovulated early but with the change in sense of smell & taste and increased hunger & tiredness, i think you just recognise it the next time round (this is DS2). Didn't have a clue 1st time with DS1 and drank like a fish...

40+2 today so he was definitely in there after all. just a matter of how much longer he stays in there now...
