It feels like I'm getting them.much earlier this time round. Could it be something else. I'm sure I was gone 30 weeks when they hit with dc1. They are sore :(

IIRC they start early but you notice them at first.

Mine started around 20 weeks in my first pregnancy, but I'm pretty sure I had an irritable uterus. They were incessant, every time I moved!

You DONT notice them at first.

I've had them both times from around 16 weeks. If they are sore I'd get checked for a uti just in case. Grin

with dd they started at around 14 weeks but didn't realise what they were for ages. This time I had my 1st one at 9 weeks and it caused me to squeal. told the midwife and she said with each pregnancy they start earlier and are stronger. (i think that I get them very early though compared to other people.)

I really have noticed mine in the last few weeks, I'm 24 weeks today. I read online that they are happening from very early on but because your uterus is still small, you don't notice them. Xx

Brere -with my dd she didn't arrive till 38 weeks so still went to term with lots of Braxton hicks. Also when Mentioned it to the midwife she didn't seem alarmed they started so early.

Brere, i got them from around 20 wks, midwife told me they are a sign of a healthy pregnancy and not to let it stop you doing exercise (that excuse gone now!)

Unbothered but aware of them from 20 weeks, since 34 weeks they've been the bane of my existence, not painful, but unable to ever get comfortable, as they squish the baby right over to my right!

I think I'm starting to get them at 15 weeks, but because the uterus is still quite small it's not as easy to tell. Sometimes I feel a tight, uncomfortable sensation, so I'm fairly sure that's what it is.
