I am 8 weeks and a complete pig... I am sure its unnecessary! Today had two pieces cheese on toast, cheeseburger for lunch (went out for lunch), banana malt loaf, donut... and not sure about dinner yet!

Hey if you can't be a pig when you're pregnant, when can you be!? You have to be kind to yourself.

I normally eat a lot as I run a lot too. Curbed the running a teeny bit to be safe - then ate two custard donuts BEFORE dinner last night!

But generally ... coffee (decaf) and toast, pasta or soup and a yoghurt for lunch, snack when I get it (crackers or toast), then dinner .. whatever I fancy! I also graze most of the day on satsumas and biscuits.

Going to try my best to eat well ... more fruit (I eat tons of veg already), and more water. At least I'll start with good intentions!

My typical 1st tri daily diet was: tinned spaghetti for breakfast, super noodles for lunch and a plain baked potato for dinner, with about 3 packets of crisps and a couple of apples throughout the day. Usually I would also have a second plain baked potato in the evening after dinner.
I would eat constantly to try to prevent myself feeling or being sick and my diet was awful, no meat or vegetables for about 2 months.
Don't feel bad about what you're eating now, eat what you fancy and then reintroduce foods as and when you feel like it. I'm 23+5 and I still can't stand chicken.

Sorry I am being thick and just realised that you didn't mention morning sickness or nausea! But yeah, if you're hungry then eat :)

I'm 10 weeks pregnant and not suffering from any morning sickness but what I eat depends on how I feel and if it's my day off (I usually have a bit of a sleep as I'm constantly tired- maybe lacking something) so eat less but if I'm working usually cereal for breakfast crisps for morning snack salad bap for dinner a big tea usually something cooked but I do have a few cookies at night with a cappuccino Sad I've lost 5lbs since finding out I'm pregnant but obviously in a couple of months I'll be huge lol (twin pregnancy)

Giant bags of haribo, a pinnet of strawberries a day and plain white carbs.

Thankfully things got better after the first 12 weeks!

17 weeks. Cereal with banana for breakfast; yoghurt mid morning; salad + protein for lunch (hummus and veg sticks, chicken salad, tune wrap etc); Apple and nuts mid afternoon; whatever for dinner but fish twice a week and lots of leafy greens.

Also a lot of ice lollies, has this craving both pregnancies

V minimal nausea for me. I'm 8+2 and am fairly permanently hungry!

Today has been:
cornflakes; banana; leftover beef mince bolognese; plum, blueberries and pear with natural yoghurt; wholemeal pitta bread with hummous; spinach and ricotta tortelloni with tomato and basil sauce and a cheeky Kipling french fancy! There will be something else in a bit too, partly cos I've made myself hungry again by writing this list!

I've lost weight so far too - about 3lbs - cos I'm not drinking, I guess.

You've lost weight since becoming pg... is that from being sick? I have had absolutely no morning sickness (quickly touches wood)... and am eating a fair amount of fruit and veg most days as I fancy it. However I also fancy cakes and burgers and cheese and cheese and cheese.....

I am eating like a pig at the mo (2nd preg 14 weeks) but I remember by about 16 weeks my hunger died down and I was able to control myself Grin

Bran flakes for breakfast. Toast and banana midmorning. Sandwich crisps chocolate for lunch, or a jacket potato. Crisps mid afternoon. Something else around 5pm. Bolognaise / chicken etc for tea. Krave cereal about 9pm.

I put on 3.5st with my first pregnancy, can see this one going even higher! The only problem I have in first tri is I can't stomach anything sweet, so there are a lot more crisps and no chocolate.

I do get my bad days where I eat crisps, chocolate or cake but I've been so feeling guilty about that that I've stopped for a few days.

Breakfast - Bowl of cereal with lots of milk (swimming in it because I want extra calcium now) - I try to make sure it is cereal that is fortified with lots of vitamins.

Snacks - Between lunch and dinner I snack on fruit (like grapes, orange, apple slices) and vegetables (sliced cucumber mostly). However I do, as I say, have an unhealthy snack quite often as well like a slice of cake or something.

Lunch - Soup or salad with boiled eggs or something like that.

Dinner - Whatever I fancy, currently I am craving curry and chips.

I'm 10 weeks and feel like all I have done since BFP is eat. I've been so bloody hungry and although nausea died off at about 7.5 weeks I've been starving.
The hunger is abating now which is good because I am so bored of all the eating. I'm usually able to go all day without getting hungry if I'm busy, so feel like I'm less productive because I'm eating all the time!
Not weighing myself but I don't feel like I've put on too much weight (other than giant bloated stomach) but like others have said I think that's because I'm not drinking. I've realised quite howmany calories I used to consume in wine Shock

Struggling at 10 weeks to eat much apart from potato waffles, yorkshire puds and roast potatoes. I'm lucky if I keep it down though (HG) and I've lost 12.5 lbs even being on meds. Praying this will pass because I want to eat and feel normal!!

Yesterday I had a slice of toast, then an M&S ham and egg mayo roll, then a jacket potato, then a veggie burger and piece of fish with cheese slices (random)
I had two bananas and a fruit salad too.

I feel like a massive pig, but if I don't eat I feel nauseaous!!

I need to find some low cal snacks which are easy on the tummy and stop me from feeling sick.

I am worrying because I put on a hell of a lot of weight with DC1 & DC2, I slimmed right down before this pregnancy and I don't want to end up piling on 4 stone again.

HELP!

I didn't have morning sickness but did develop food adversions so only really liked pasta with tomato sauce, salt and vinegar crips, lollies and white bread toast.

Now I am fine but not eating as much fruit and veg as I should really.
Breakfast is porridge, I often have a decaff latte on the way to work, then lunch is sandwich and crisps. Dinner can be anything from thai green curry to fishcakes and veg, to fish and rice.

I have found now the baby is squashing my stomach so I can only eat small meals, I just try and have snacks in between

Far too much. Feeling very woozy and weak (pathetic i know) every 2 hrs unless i eat. Had to come out of a meeting at work as thought was about to faint! Also had to delay driving home yesterday as felt awful until ate a mince pie. It wasn't long since i'd had something else.

Today:
Porridge, satsuma, grapes
Shortbread, apple
Soup, belgian bun, melon
Shortbread, slice toast
Dinner: vast portion pasta with ratatouille sauce, salad

Didn't have this at all during last pregnancy. Have spoken to midwife but she said to keep eating even if gaining weight too much as otherwise i can't function. Slightly conerned i am just being incredibly greedy and getting used to eating way too much! Husband keeps sayin 'are you sure the funny ill feeling aren't psychological?' I think he remembers me being fine in last prgnancy.
Am 12+4 by the way. Scan monday!!!!
