Occasional pain in vagina

Sorry for the tmi...

I'm 20 weeks pregnant and when I sit down to go to the loo I get a pain in my vagina, very close to the entrance, kind of in the muscles that make up the walls. It is identical to the pain you get when you are young and have been having lots of sex. It's not there generally, only when I sit on the loo, and sex is not painful.

Would this be weak pelvic floor, or something else?

Nothing surprises me about pregnancy symptoms anymore! I get stabbing pains every now and again that seem to shoot up. I don't think it's anything to worry about. Is your baby moving as normal? Maybe mention it at your next midwife appt if you're worried?

Yes good idea. It's my second baby and I'm hoping it's not that something got damaged first time round, when I had a forceps delivery.

It could be scarring from a previous delivery? I've noticed in this pregnancy that I'm sore n feeling bruised in my scarring tissue, especially when sitting on the Loo. I was meant to mention it to my a Midwife today, but I've got terrible baby brain!!

I don't know if this is the 'flashing' pain as it is more slow than that. Yes it does feel like pain in scar tissue (I had an episiotomy). Does anyone have experience of a delivery after this? Will it be ok?
