Insomnia - really pissing me off now

I'm 32w and haven't slept in as long as I can remember.

I have tried everything - camomile tea makes me get up for even more wee's, my Natal Hypnotherapy CD's do not work and I end up feeling more awake and alert?

I try to eat early / no TV or electrical devices for a while before bed.

The irony is that I am physically wrecked. I work FT, have a 2 year old so I have more than enough keeping me busy and wearing me out?

It's driving me bonkers and I physically suffering now. I am moody, grumpy, low in energy?

Nowt "wrong" with me as such, red blood cell count and hemoglobin a little low at last blood test but not low enough for a MW to bother calling me.

I still have 6 poxy weeks left at work as well and we've just moved house.

I am done in and all I want to do is sleep but I CANT.

I posted a thread like this last night when I was up, had terrible restless legs. Bless you. It's bloody horrible. I have a 2yr old to tend to at night as well. Pregnancy does horrible things to our bodies!
I feel your pain Hun.

Hello,
Same here at 36 + 5. I've done my Christmas online shopping since 4am.
No real solutions but I do take magnesium and zinc combined tablets from Holland and Barrett for restless legs and it stopped them. I take them every night now. I just googled the milligrams to make sure it wasn't soft in pregnancy and from what I read it doesn't seem to be but of course check with your gp etc.

33 weeks and I don't even have a toddler to care for! You have all my sympathy. I have been so tired that I asked my boss to start my maternity leave early as I was really struggling. He said yes and I am finishing Friday next week, 2 weeks ahead of schedule. I can't wait.

Do you feel like you could nap during the day at the weekend?
