Hi all

I'm 5 weeks pregnant and have been hit with sudden exhaustion. I'm having to nap in the afternoon for a few hours.
It's not been a problem as I've been off work for a week but I'm due back tomorrow and I'm not sure how ill make it through the day.
I was tired in my previous pregnancies but don't remember it being this early on or to this extent.
Any advice would be helpful xx

I'm 12+5 and it's still pretty bad. Better than it was but still doing 8-8.30 bedtime.

I'm 7 weeks, still exhausted and now the morning sickness has kicked in! Sorry, but it is going to get worse!

First twelve weeks - awful. Prob started to feel normal at week 16-18. I'm quite energetic now (20w)!

With me it was around 13-14 weeks. Then around 16 weeks of plenty of energy before back to complete exhaustion for the last 10 weeksGrin

Snap. I'm 5 + 3 weeks and feel absolutely ruined. I've snuck off for lunchtime naps at work all week. Pretty sure people are guessing something is up! Woke up with a horrible headache this pm too. Hope it doesn't last too long :(

When the children leave home I suppose.

Bonzo77, that's so bloody true lmao!! Currently 27+3 with baby no.5 and still having to have a nap everyday, I feel absolutely ruined with this pregnancy. Definitely going to have to take up a hobbie once he's born! Lol

Thanks for the replies all. I think I'm going to have to start going to bed early. I'm away with the parents and in laws this weekend so hiding it from them is going to be as hard as staying awake lol.
Not sure how I will manage tomorrow. I've done this twice before but don't remember it being quite this bad. X

I'm now 15 weeks and have a 6month old. I'm struggling still. Maybe that's with having a young baby to look after. Midwife old me to take a multi vitamin. Maybe try that. I can't comment as I'm so rubbish at remembering to take them :( I hope you feel brighter soon though xxx

About 4 years.

Lol - 4 years sounds about right!

In the first trimester you will be very tired! I remember at 4 weeks the only symptom I had was extreme fatigue! I wanted to sleep by 6 pm.
This has been more or less the same with this pregnancy! I've been having my afternoon naps even in third trimester - I need them.

After delivery you will be more than exhausted.
