20w scan tomorrow! Last minute gender predictions?

Hi all,

Throughout my pregnancy, I had a strong feeling that I was having a girl due to the heightened morning sick, sudden acne and some food preferences. I also did the red cabbage test, which identified that I'd be having a girl - though I'm aware that this isn't accurate! I know all pregnancies are different and these symptoms do not determine a girl. However, recently I have been feeling unsure about the gender due to changes in some of the things mentioned above.. After having dreams of having a girl, I had a dream of having a beautiful boy the other night - I'm fully aware that this is all psychological - I actually don't mind what the gender is.

Now that that speech is done with (lol) does anyone want to predict the gender from the included picture? :)

Do you know when you if you had sex the day you ovulated?

I read somewhere that mother's have a 70% success rate of guessing the sex of their babies! So on the basis of that.... You're having a girl.

Well... that's a tough one because my cycles were quite sporadic this year. I'm sure we had sex further away from my ovulation day, as it was about a week(ish) into my next cycle and my cycles were getting longer as the year passed. So, from that, I gathered girl as well.

For me skull and nub says girl! Never heard of the red cabbage test!

I was so exited but nervous at the same time, just praying that it was healthy more than thinking about the gender. But after a minute of checking over, the midwife confidently stated that we're expecting a girl and that everything with her is perfectly healthy :) over the moon!

If you're really eager to determine the gender, I would suggest trying the red cabbage test. It's been one of the most accurate tricks used (even better than the gender kits from stores), although some people have said it hasn't worked for them.

I didn't have a preference as such but you can tell my guess was a girl from my first post. I just didn't want to set myself on being set on my guess and being told otherwise at my scan!
