So I am half way through doing the nursery. Eek exciting! But I just wondered what everyone was going to put in theirs or what essentials to keep in there aside from the obvious ?

Don't even have one! There's a moses basket in our room and another in sitting room. Baby's wardrobe is in spare room and we've got change stations set up in bathroom and under sofa. We already owned a rocking chair so that might get moved upstairs to feed in but might not.

We have a white cotbed, white changing unit with drawers and a nursing chair (bargain on ebay).

Now planning on decorating with a handmade butterfly mobile, handmade bunting and some personalised framed prints. If I get chance to make them.

It's my due date today, but I figure baby will be in with us for awhile. So hopefully we'll have time to get it all finished.

We have a Moses basket and stand in our room and a spare stand downstairs for daytime naps.

There's a cot and a changing table and a chest of drawers both of which were off Freecycle. DH painted the room and I put up some of those removable stickers with owls, squirrels etc.

It's lovely to hear other people's ideas.
So far I have a mamas and papas cot which I got second hand and is a natural wood colour. We were given a wardrobe and chest of drawers which we have painted cream. I also have a cotton changer do that I can use the chest of drawers to put a lamp and stuff on. Other than that I was only planning on having a chair in there (not a rocking chair unfortunately just a tub chair).
I have gone for a cream and brown color scheme with spots, stripes and little bears from asda :) just can't wait to get it organized and ready :)

Sounds lovely Becca. If anyone did want a rug for their nursery Dunelm Mill are doing a lovely range called Teddy bear. They are super soft and come in lots of colours. They have round and rectangular ones.

We don't have a nursery! Baby will be in our room in a crib. Bedding and bath essentials stored in wardrobe. Changing mat on desk in sitting room. Baby bouncer and baby gym for sitting room and chest of wooden and plastic drawers for clothes and other baby essentials. The most extravagant thing we have is breast pump and nappy bin - a present from sister. We've had loads of lovely hand me down clothes and simple toys from family.

Our kids have always ended up going into shared rooms
I've never had a nursery. But it must be so much fun to decorate. When DD turned 3 we moved and she got her own room which was so much fun to paint and decorate. Our baby will move in with sister so there's just his cot and a heck of a lot of pink for him to deal with.
I never had a changing table. Boring as it sounds. I would have this in a nursery.

We're just having a cot, a wardrobe, a chair for feeding and some drawers for now. I've never had a changing table, it's not used for long enough to justify the cost in my eyes. Everything will be cream until we know what sex the baby is, then I'll accessorise with either blue or pink when it's here.

It's in our room in its Moses basket for a while anyway so no need to go mad. I can't wait to wash all the clothes and get sorted though. I need to put the cot back together from number 2 though, still enough time yet as only 30 weeks.

I've got cot, wardrobe, changing unit and rocking chair. It's all cream for now but I can't wait until we know what it is so I can add some colour. I really love going to sit in it though and get excited about our little ones arrival!!

Nothing, haven't bought a single thing yet, we're moving soon and are waiting until we've moved to buy things and decorate.
