Can't get through to the midwives and I know I'm probably being silly worrying about this, but I am a hyperchondriac at the best of times and pregnancy is making me loopy!

Last night I had some pink discharge when I wiped. I had this before around 10 weeks, paired with abdominal pain, but a scan showed everything was fine :)

This morning all seems back to normal but I am still worried! This week I used a pessary and yesterday I lifted a heavy suitcase above my head (stupid!) so it's probably just some capillaries that have burst right? It would be a lot worse if the placenta had come away or something drastic wouldn't it???

Had 12 weeks scan on mon so been much more confident this week until this!!! SIL is due 2 days before me so I've been really paranoid the whole time in case we only end up with 1 baby between us. That would be soooo terrible and sad :(

So I just need some reassurance please! :(

I had this with my first pregnancy, it was a cervical ectopian (I think that's what it's called anyway!) it didn't cause any other problems at all and 6 years on my dd is a healthy, wonderful, often annoying girl Grin

Check with your midwife as soon as you can though, I'm sure she'll be able to put your mind at rest

I've had one bad bleed at 6 weeks and several episodes of a tiny amount of spotting or pink discharge and all still seems well at 23 weeks. If you are worried then I would call your midwife or GP for proper medical reassurance :) I'm also due at a similar time to my SIL and only now are the fears that something will go wrong for one of us subsiding a bit.

Ok. Cool. I'm 13 weeks btw. Can I ring the Community Midwives? I don't know what they do, I was told to ring the Maternity Helpline with Qs like this but they're closed, although they're meant to be open. Argh. I'm sure it's fine Confused
