Cost of the scan photo

I've got my 12 week scan tomorrow at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford and for the life of me I cannot find anywhere online that tells me how much the copy of the scan costs.

Does anyone have any clue please? I'd love for us to get a copy or two (mainly as we've had a few requests from people that want to see it) and don't want to get caught out with not having enough change!

Thank you very much!

£5 for one at my hospital, possibly £9 for two. They do have a machine that takes debit/credit card.

Donations were optional but I am in Scotland.

£6 for the set of four different photos at mine, they didn't offer copies I just scanned them at home to email to DP and grandparents. Not sure there were card payment machines but I may just not have seen them.

Brilliant, I guess if we take a tenner then we should be covered so long as some is in change (just in case). I can do copies of it at work and laminate those if needs be as it'd be much cheaper.

Thank you again!

The hospital told me not to laminate mine - something to do with the paper/ink that's used means it'll ruin the picture.

£6.50 at my hospital and it had to be in change as you needed to purchase a stamp from a machine to exchange for your pic. Hmm That was supposed to be for two copies of the same pic, but both times I got more images and copies. I got the impression the sonographers thought it was as big a swindle as we did!

It was £5 for 1, £10 for 3 at my hospital - and it had to be in change - but we got more each time and used a note!
You have to be really careful with the originals - no exposure to heat (such as lamination) and don't display them behind plastic because the picture will degrade. Your OP suggests you're going to copy it and laminate the copies which is a much better idea!
Oh and congratulations on your pregnancy Grin

Thank you Smile

Oh yes, I know I can't laminate the original so I'll be photocopying a few copies for my family if they want them and laminate those, don't worry (I work in a stationers that does that sort of thing on an every day basis so I know the heat would just black the original out much like some receipts do).

Look like I'll be needing to do my post office run before I go to the hospital to get some change from that then!

Thanks again!

Yes make sure you take change - our hospital only takes change in the machine £4, same goes for the parking. I have a hospital change pot for this very reason.
