I am nearly 35 weeks and still have a decided inny! I'm not saying it's a huge issue or anything, just curious really.

Mine never popped out with either pregnancy.

I'm 39 weeks and my belly button is slightly more bulgy than normal but still an inny.

Last time mine just gradually flattened out and totally disappeared by about 32 weeks!! Went back to normal very quickly.

Lottiedoubtie Wed 05-Nov-14 19:33:24

Mine never popped out!

confusedandemployed Wed 05-Nov-14 19:33:39

Yeah mine just went flat!!

KittyandTeal Wed 05-Nov-14 19:35:07

Mine never popped out. Saying that I think I put on enough fat on my belly to keep it an inny!

IdaClair Wed 05-Nov-14 19:36:07

Mine went flat. It was horrible. But never popped. It is deeper now.

Weekipper Wed 05-Nov-14 19:40:48

Mine stayed an inny.

Phew. I was afraid I'm alone blush I keep waiting for mine to pop, although I am just 24 weeks so I might be waiting for it too early blush

Mine is flat & stretched at 39 weeks. Skin is all bruised around it for weeks though confused

Sarkymare Thu 06-Nov-14 09:02:01

Mine went completely flat.

Did anyone elses belly button go really brown? Which sort of flaked off a few weeks/months after birth? Or when scrubbed with a cloth it turned the cloth brown?

Gudgyx Thu 06-Nov-14 09:05:12

Mines is going a weird shape now at 23 weeks, kind of squint looking where its being stretched!

TinyMonkey Thu 06-Nov-14 09:21:32

Mine looks like it might pop in the next week or so, I'm 35 weeks.

PopcornFrenzy Thu 06-Nov-14 09:54:37

Mine popped at 28 weeks with both pregnancies. DH thinks it's hilarious grin

Hoggle246 Thu 06-Nov-14 09:59:17

Mine didn't pop either, but did go weird brown and flaky sarkymare. Strange and made me feel a right grub.

Belly button is the biggest casualty of my pg, all baggy and deep now. Didn't help that I had it pierced as teenager so the hole from that widened too. Oh if only I could have warned myself! Woe betide any future dd who decides she wants to get it done!

Never really changed shape at all and I was huge. DS 's birth weight was 9lb 5 at 39 weeks.

Really early. Twenty something weeks. I hated it. It stuck out through clothes and was quite tender from being so stretched so it was horrible when things brushed against it.

BellaVida Thu 06-Nov-14 10:04:46

Mine never did, even with twins! Just stretched out flat & smooth. The skin was sensitive though, but my up to the armpit pants took care of that ;-)

Due date is tomorrow and it's not happened yet. It's nowhere near as deep as it was, but I doubt I'll get an outy now.

FruitBadger Thu 06-Nov-14 10:27:11

Mine half popped about 30 ish weeks, it's popped completely in the last week, I'm 38 weeks today

FinickityCoder Thu 06-Nov-14 10:34:25

I think it popped at around 28 weeks last time. It actually popped this week (24 wks) but baby has turned into a funny position and my bumps deflated a little and belly button has unpopped! I'm gutted! I like stroking it when it's popped out, it's really soft blush I know I'm a little odd... blush grin

ArgyMargy Thu 06-Nov-14 10:36:02

No, not for either pregnancy.

wickedlazy Thu 06-Nov-14 10:45:46

Mine didn't pop out

DecaffTastesWeird Thu 06-Nov-14 14:32:18

Thanks all! Glad to see I'm not the only one with a persistent inny! Haha FinickityCoder I kind of want mine to pop now so I can stroke it.
