What to wear for NCT class

Hi - I have my first NCT class today but the class leader has not given any info about what to wear or whether it's going to be like an exercise class or more like a classroom session. I emailed her to ask and helpfully she just said come with an open mind ... Didn't answer my question at all. I'm 36 weeks so feel more comfortable in loose dresses rather than anything with waistbands to dig in but obviously if we are going to be doing physical exercises I should wear a gym kit?
I have no idea basically! Please advise - someone who has been on one of these days Confused

No physical exercises as far as I recall but they do vary depending on the teacher. I think you'll be fine in your frock.

Wear whatever you're comfortable in. I always wore long lose dresses. They might do some breathing/labour positions but there'll be no exercise. It will mostly be talking, possibly some practice nappy changing. So
Don't worry!

Yes I'm sure a dress will be absolutely fine. The only 'exercise' I remember doing was the men practising massage techniques on our backs.... Enjoy Grin

Just wear whatever you're comfortable in.

In my nct class we practiced positions to ease labour pain & there was a bit of sitting on the floor chatting but definitely no exercise. I wore jeans the first session & a dress for the other two sessions. Other people were in jeans, dresses, leggings and trousers. Just wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
