Anyone had a bfp on the clearblue advanced fertility monitor?

Its my first month using it.... I am now on cd32, usually have a 32-33 day cycle but can be 28-39 days...this month I got my first peak on cd21 so guessing as of tomorrow (cd33) I will be 12dpo. Monitor hasn't asked for a pg test yet though.... does it ask? Or should I go ahead and just test?

It doesn't ask for pregnancy tests as it does the fertility tests but you can test whenever you want. It will simply recognise it as a pregnancy test rather than a fertility test. I have tested 12 dpo on the monitor and result has been accurate.

Sorry...just while I've got you here....did you find the monitor helpful? Any tips? Smile

Yup, I think it just made us feel more proactive about the whole thing rather than just adopting a scattergun approach!!

I used it, the first month it took loads of strips as my cycle is a bit longer than average, so I used 2 months worth, but it took that into account and asked for me to start testing later in the second month.

It also picked up me ovulating earlier than usual in the third month, as I had a random shorter cycle, and it's good it did as I then got my bfp that cycle!

It will only tell you about the pregnancy test strips in the very first cycle, after that it's just a case of you using them when you feel the need to test and it'll record the result in the monthly info with everything else.

We found it useful to keep track of ovulating etc, I'd recommend it.

No real tips but it was really helpful to pinpoint ovulation, we had been aiming for day 14 of a 28 day cycle but in fact I ovulate on day 17 by which time we were usually too knackered and had given up . Also once you know when ovulation is predicted you can use it in conjunction with the sperm meets egg plan ( loads about this if you google!). Good luck!

Well I tested this morning and got a bfn. There was a ghost of a second line though so have got my hopes up...will test again tomorrow morning unless AF shows...
