what dose it feel like when your mucas plug has/is going? Not sure if mine has as when i wipe, it feels like when you are you DH have had unprotected sex, very sort of sticky and runny after he has cum.

Have had normal movement so far today with a mixture of tightness due to bubba being engaged

its also my due date today as well so not sure if that is a start of things as am a ftm

My mucus plug was pretty obvious, it was like raw egg, a bit spotted with blood, and certainly not something I had ever seen, or ever imagined, coming out of my body It came out more when I wiped, in blobs, rather than just trickling out.

Sticky and runny could potentially be your waters. Could you put a pad in for the next few hours so you can get a better impression of what is leaking?

I have a pad on at the mo. been putting one on everyday past couple of weeks due to the heat as tend to get sweaty in that area as got chunly thighs

Someone else may come along with a different experience of mucus plugs, but if it feels a little more like leaking, that sounds a bit more like your waters than a plug.

But I never had my waters go so could be completely wrong!

Never hurts, esp on your due day, to call the mw's and describe it to them.

I had mine this morning and it sort of just felt like I had leaked a bit of fluid. Looked like raw egg with a small amount of blood in it!! Had more come out a couple of hours ago bit it was harder and sticky! (Snot like) ewww!!
Contractions and tightenings happening but not regular!!

My experience of the plug/ show, was as everyone else has said, like egg whites but thicker and with blood streaks. Also only noticed when I wiped but continued until I got into water at 4 cm. I would say waters are more slippery, and have a smell to them. Good Luck.

Can the mucus plug be like the egg white cervical mucus when you ovulate but with a slight snot green tinge to it? My god, I feel gross just typin that x

Well I spoke to the labour unit and they reckon from what I have discribed, it soundds like my mucas plug going. just need to keep an eye on it and if a pad becomes soaked then to give them a ring again.

Soz that its taken me a while to reply back, had to take my cat to the vet as an emergancy (off subject I know) :(

Yeah that sounds like a plug going to me, don't be surprised if it suddenly all plops out at once (as one of mine did)

sounds minging but google mucus plug images if ur unsure..... I wasn't sure bwt mine going until I saw pictures of other peoples and was like yes that's definatly whats happened to me disgusting I know but put mind at ease

Well, went to hospital last night as thought waters had gone, but turns out it just my plug going as pad and underware soaked through (turns out was pee was not expecting bladder to go like that as didnt even relaise until i went to get up). didn't have good night sleep as it happened again(felt myself weeing that time) spent most of night either peeing, pooing or pacing as was getting pains either low down in pelvis/cervix and back ache. fingers crossed that this is the start of labour.

MrsGiraffe, got to ring vets at 10 to see when we can pick him up as they did x-ray and removel and kept him in overnight to check for any signs of concussion. looks like he got shot at with a bb pellette. he was very lucky as it was 2 millimeters above his eye
