Hello,
I'm just wondering if this is something I should be worried about. Over the last week I have a few episodes of blurry, weird vison. It feels a little like I'm going to pass out but does pass. In addition, I am always thirsty (but it's been hot), wee a lot (but don't we all), I'm exhausted (again at 28 weeks isn't this normal) and have thrush. According to the nhs site this can all be a sign of gestational diabetes???
However, I have a normal bmi (in fact I'm losing weight), no family history of diabetes and don't come from one of the at risk racial groups. As a result the midwife (who I spoke to this morning) said they wouldn't test my blood.
My diet is pretty good, but I have been eating and drinking more sugur recently, as I had thought it would help me have the energy to look after my one year old. However, it seems to be having the opposite effect. As a result I have cut back now and I think I do feel better, but I'm exhausted.
I can't decide if I'm being a drama queen or if I should call the Gp?
