... is there anything I can do to help them stop for it?

Rubbing doesn't work, jumping about doesn't work, lying on side doesn't work.

Do you mean you want to stop the baby hiccuping. Hiccuping is a really good sign as it means baby it practicing swallowing and digesting which is exactly what it should be doing, means all it we'll.

Only when it's been going on for 10+ minutes - I feel sorry for it!

Mine thankfully tend to last only a few minutes at a time, but she's getting them more and more. I've found she gets them after I eat sweet things- I know they say that food can affect the amniotic fluid... maybe I'm giving her a sweet tooth LOL!

I've read babies don't experience any discomfort from them at all - they feel very different from what we experience. My baby has them several times a day for short spells - I find them endlessly endearing! x
