37 weeks with dizziness and ringing in ears

A friend of mine is 37 weeks and just told me tonight that for the past 2 mornings she has woken up dizzy with ringing in her ears but that it passes after a while.

I looked up the symptoms of preeclampsia and it doesn't fit the bill (unless I just read the wrong web page).

She has a regular appt. tomorrow and I urged her to bring it up.

Does this sound like anything to be concerned about?

she is otherwise in perfect health.

She should get her bp checked at her appt and they will test her wee too.

These are not symptoms of pre-eclampsia more likely a viral ear infection or labarynthitis

She is better off seeing gp rather than midwife for such symptoms

I know it sounds odd, but could be a form of migraine. I wasn't pregnant but developed these symptoms, for a long time the Drs and specialists didn't know why I was getting them (I was even told I'd have to live with the tinnitus for the rest of my life).
However, long story short, turns out they are symptoms of a rare form of migraine and when I changed the pill I was on, both symptoms disappeared!
Tell her to take it easy and treat it as a migraine then see what happens.

The tinnitus with dizziness can be a sign of anaemia. has she had her blood tested? I experienced these symptoms when my red blood cell count dropped.
