Hi, I have just found out I am pregnancy with my second :-)

Problem is I am a little anxious because it's 14dpo and I only have a weak positive- I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks before my son was born and I also had a weak positive with that pregnancy so nervous the same thing will happen again! Looking for some reassurance please :-)

Congratulations.

If you're only the weeks po then I would only expect a week positive at that stage. But that's definitely a positive.. good luck.

Congratulations! Each time I've been pregnant, I've not had a BFP until the day AFTER my period is due. A line is a line is a line!

That's a strong line for 14 dpo! My test line was only as dark as the control line after about 27 dpo on the three occasions I've been pregnant so I wouldn't worry.

Congratulations Preston17! And Motherofinsomniactoddlers!

Hiya- so this is 18dpo. I'm getting myself in such a mess- I'm so upset thinking that the line isn't dark enough when I tested with my son it was a deep dark blue line. I know there's nothing I can do and just got to wait to see what happens but I'm worried my levels aren't increasing as they should be.

If you try one with conception indicator you can see if the numbers are going up? Fingers crossed for you

Stop testing. There's no need to keep testing.

I don't understand what you're worried about
about. That is a really strong positive.

Don't carry on testing. If you are exceptionally concerned a Dr could confirm your hcg levels as increasing. But. It wont really tell you if all is going ok or not. It has been the hardest thing for me to accept. ONLY time passing and passing and hitting the milestones is all there is. Dr's/ tests can barely tell a thing.

That's the darkest line I've ever seen on a clearblue! It's got darker since the first one you posted. Looks like a winner to me, hunny! Relax :)

I don't know what's up with me- feel petrified for no reason what so ever! It's as if I need to know the second if something's going to go wrong! But I just need to be more positive and try and forget about it for now. Having a miscarriage has affected me alot more than I thought!

How's it going Preston? When are you due?

Don't worry about home tests: they measure waste HCG in your pee which varies according to a range of factors (hydration, time of day, digestion etc'). Different brands have different tolerances. And of course each batch of tests has a slightly different amount of ink!

:)

If you can see the line, you're pregnant.

Also those 'counting' digi ones can cause more anxiety than they're worth in my experience. Say you do one on a day your dumping a load of old hormones (e.g. morning after a hot night) and the next few days are cooler, you could get the same reading when really you have moved on.

Hi - all ok so far, not many symptoms yet however- how are you feeling?

Hi - stop testing :)

I had an early m/c before DC2 and drove myself batty for a few days with lines and their relative darkness. Therein the path to insanity lies.... Your lines aren't even faint! Mine buggered around for days being faint and all was well.

The tests don't measure how pregnant you are - they aren't that soohisticated - and much depends on how much water you have drunk.

Congratulations Grin

Sorry to go against what MotherOfInsomniacToddlers said but DON'T use the conception indicator ones, the numbers are not reliable... I was like you, very worried, and was spotting and bleeding throughout my first weeks, I kept taking the conception indicators to see the numbers go up and they went DOWN! got myself in a right mess, seriously... started taking them at different times of the day and getting different results. I'm now 15w1d and everything is fine. I really gave myself a nervous breakdown with those tests x All the doctors do is say "yes, line, pregnant" Everything else is wait and see :)

A doctor once told me that you can't be "a little pregnant" The test simply shows Positive or Negative
this is Positive! Many Congratulations to you! xx
