Feel like crying

I'm just here for a moan really. Feel really weepy today. I am nearly 39 weeks pregnant with my second and feel so uncomfortable. All the usual stuff, SPD, head banging into my pelvis, heartburn, insomnia, massive bump. All this plus I have had a broken leg since 31 weeks. I was non weight bearing until Monday. I am now in an air boot but walking is so painful. My leg and ankle is stiff and swollen. At least things are progressing in the right way. I was so scared I would still be completely non weight bearing.

Feeling sorry for myself as my mum died fairly recently too and I just want her around now. I have my wonderful dh but sometimes you just want your mum eh?

Sorry moan over.

So sorry for your loss.

It sounds like you have lots of reasons to feel a bit emotional right now. Nothing wrong with indulging in it for a little while. Perhaps you and DH can do something lovely later to cheer you up. Hope you feel better soon - not long to go so hang in there and you'll soon have your lovely baby.

What a lot on your plate. I think anyone would moan. Breaking your leg is so frustrating at the best of times, let alone when you are pregnant. And I am so sorry about your mum, that makes me feel a bit teary.

I found having a baby so much easier and happier than being heavily pregnant. Not too long for you now.

I don't know what your childcare arrangements are, but do you think you could do something nice for yourself this week? I highly recommend a pregnancy massage...

Gosh, I guess the only thing that can be said is that you're really nearly there!! (And then you'll be super tired Wink)

I was unbearably grumpy with everyone including my DD in last few weeks of normal stress free pregnancy so can't imagine how tough it is on you. I hope you're being looked after.

Thank you everyone. I feel a bit better. Those damn pregnancy hormones just creep up sometimes and make me feel a bit wobbly. I am very excited to meet baby now and complete our family. Mum (and Dad) would be very proud.
