Anyone else had yellowy-browny discharge

Hi guys,

I'm 12 and a half weeks pregnant, and for quite a while now I.ve been noticing a slight yellowy browny type discharge most days. It's not when I wipe, I just notice it at the end of the day (I've been wearing panty liners) and it's not very much- 1 panty liner per day. I Also feel very generally moist (sorry tmi) and as if I've wet myself most of the time! Does anyone else have/had this?

I should also say that I've had several scans and so far each one was good, so obviously I'm hoping that this discharge is nothing.

Yes I have something similar, am 10 weeks.

Dr Google says it can be a sign of miscarriage, infection or just normal and some women get this.

I went and got swabbed and don't have an infection, it's been going on for a couple of weeks so I hope it's not MC.... So I've decided it's normal!

I also read that although there aren't studies to support this, some women think pg multivits can turn discharge yellow like they do wee. I have to say this started a couple of weeks after I began with my multivit so I'm clinging on to that idea!

Hi thanks for replying. I think some people just get this...I know it can be a sign of something bad but i ve had it for a few weeks and each scan has been good (touch wood so far). Interesting about the vitamins, maybe that's a factor....maybe I should Check the infection thing out to be sure.

No, but my midwife said to call her if I noticed any discharge which wasn't clear because it could be a sign of an infection which can have bad consequences for your baby, so I think you should definitely get it checked.

It will probably be fine like ChattyCat, but just wanted to pass that on because "better safe than sorry" and all! Smile
