thanks guys, tbh, ive found laboir pretty traumatising. I have two 2nd degree tears, one 1st degree anf episiotomy on my perinium. Im all stitched and swollen amd really dont like the feeling of it :( im a nervous wreck. Im going to see my doc when im out of hospital as i need something to help calm my nerves. I think its the fact i have so much trauma down there thats shovked me the most. I didnt scream, just a loud grunt as the head came out after i was cut, what felt like a knife going along my urethra! I was started off on friday and by sunday i was 3cm and fully engaged. They popped my waters at 6:45am and i was having regular contractions from 7 onwards. By 8 i was 5cm, then 9 i was7cm, then i jumped to 9cm at 10 ad by 10:30 i was fully dilated. The hardest part i must say is holding the pushing in, lil man wouldnt turn and came out head down. If i was just a lil more flexible he woukd have came out no probs, but for the last two hours he was stuck, and soon as they cut me he came out with the last two pushes. Poor lil might had a swollen head rom me trying my best to get him out but its all normal now :) i guess i have a long road to recovery now and would appreciate anybody with advice. Feel fre to inbox if you dont want to publicise anything you find too personal like your experiences. I got massive applauses off the midwives who were looking after me as for a first timer to labour so quickly on.my own and really focus on what they were telling me. I did it all on has and air by the way. The worst part about it was the after pains -.- but i guess they helped as my uterus is now almost back in place just over a day after! Xx

Well done boogles, he's a big baby, you did well. On the childbirth board you'll find some good advice for looking after your nether regions. Take good care of yourself!

Congratulations!! I had a third degree tear after ds1, not nice and for me more psychologically traumatising than physically. I healed well though with no problems. Wishing you a speedy recovery and a healthy and happy future Smile Smile Smile

Aw. Lovely x congratulations. Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery (and lots of that oxcytocin to help the trauma ease).
