Coccyx pain in early pregnany

I'm about 9 weeks and for the last week or so I've had really bad coccyx pain when sitting down, and especially when rising back to a standing position. To the point where it takes my breath away for a moment. Trains and office/dining chairs are the worst, even when padded or I'm sitting on a big cushion.

Got this towards the end of last pregnancy so surprised it's happened already this time. Any tips on how to relieve/help/stop the pain?

I had this at the start of my pregnancy and it developed into spd after a while. I would mention it to your midwife though. My midwife wasn't concerned when I told her but once it developed into spd she referred me for physio. I hope yours goes away!

I got this, also very early on but I'm seeing a chiropractor for it and its helping a LOT, thankfully as coccyx pain is just unbearable! Turned out to be a symptom of a few other problems. I would definitely recommend seeking help about it

I had it early on (maybe 5- 9 weeks) and it went away and now I'm 20 +5 and it's been back for about 4 or 5 weeks when I sit or move awkwardly and put pressure on it.

So quite literally a pain in the arse?

Haven't yet had my booking in appt (long story) but will mention it when I finally get it, probably after my 12 week scan at this rate... I've got a good physio I've been to for running injuries who starts from a kinetic chain and holistic viewpoint so sounds like it might be worth getting an appt and seeing if they can sort me out a bit.

Did anyone find anything that helped ease it in an office environment?
