Hi, At work today i was scratching my bump a little bit (28 weeks) and a colleague (who has a baby) said not to and to rub instead as scratching causes stretch marks!! i'd never heard this before. has anyone?! writing this makes me think that it is a load of baloney but... i've been rubbing belly ever since!!

I've done lots of scratching...it's quite amusing as tends to get baby kicking in response...guess it must be loud in there! I can't say I've noticed stretch marks it sounds like an old wives tale to me. :-)

I think stretching causes stretch marks, not scratching!
