Hello, I'm 4 weeks according to the clearblue stick, but 6 weeks counting from first day of last period. When did your sickness start? I'm dreading it as already feeling very queasy in the morning. Thanks x

The queasy feeling for me lasted until about 12 with all pregnancies but I was only ever sick twice throughout them all. Not everyone gets it really badly

All I had was the travel sickness/hangover style nausea from 6 weeks until 10-12 weeks. Puked twice in that time. Thrown up more since from a stomach bug.

5 weeks exactly with DD and it didn't stop until I gave birth. Never got it with DS.

Vomiting started at six weeks and I'm still being sick at 31 weeks - I have hyperemesis. I deteriorated quickly and was on a drip by 8.5 weeks.

Sympathy OP. IME the queasiness can be just as debilitating as vomiting umpteen times a day.

9 weeks, lasted till 16 with #1, 6 weeks with #2 and 5 or 6 weeks with #3&4, everyone kept telling me to take ginger for it with #1 but the only thing that worked for me was peppermint tea

DS1 - sickness started at 6 weeks. Stopped when I gave birth

DS2 - sickness started at 5 weeks. Stopped when I gave birth

The first 6 months were always the worst. And both times I was thoroughly fed up!

Started at 6 weeks. Constant nausea lasted until 13 weeks.
Vomited a couple of times between weeks 6-10 then every morning since then (now 22 weeks).

Nausea started at about 5 or 6 weeks and lasted until 10 weeks. Wasn't ever sick though. I basically felt like I had a hangover for 5 weeks because of the crippling fatigue and nausea. Am 15 weeks now and have felt much better since 10 weeks.

Didn't have any nausea really with my previous pregnancy (twins). Stomach flipped a bit walking past the Cornish pasty stand in the station at 8am, but I reckon that's a reasonable response to the smell of pasties that early in the morning!

I found out I was pregnant on 25th October. Been sick at least once a day since 27th October. Also had four stays in hospital, a lot of drips and many packets of extra strong mints. It's been lovely.

8 weeks with 9 weeks being the worst. Only once a fortnight though, I was lucky. V.dependant on tiredness in my case.

I started at about 71/2 - 8 weeks I think. Weeks 9 and 10 were the absolute worst, I felt like grim death and had to have a bowl beside me at all times. Now 16 weeks and still vomming every morning Sad

Started and 5 weeks meds at 8 weeks (did not work!) Finally calmed down/got it under control about 38 weeks! Terrified of living through that again.

Started at 9 and a half weeks- I thought I had missed it. Tailed off gradually from about 14 to 18 weeks although I couldn't stomach red meat until about 28 weeks.

As someone else that is REALLY anxious about morning sickness, this thread is a reassuring read that not everyone suffers too badly. Hoping I'm not unlucky!
