I'm so confused.

Trying for 2 year with my other half to conceive. I have PCOS and low progesterone. He also lives in turkey so only see him every other month. My last cycle was 18/03/2014, cycle length usually 37 days. I don't know when I ovulate, but think my luteal length is about 9 days. I spent 3 weeks with him, 9th-30th April. AF was due on 25th, never came. I waited 4 days to test and it came back positive. When I came back to England i decided to test again to make sure. Positive again, 1-2 weeks. I returned to work on the 2nd may to discover brown discharge. Sent home because worrying like crazy. Went to A+E and was told my hcg was pretty low at 274 but not to worry. Few days later the bleeding got heavier and bright red, passed a few clots. I had mild cramping from about the 14th of April and has continued all the way through. EPU told me i was miscarrying and to return on the 12th for a scan. The bleeding stop after a week. Went yesterday for scan and blood test. You couldn't see anything on the scan but my blood test came back that the hcg had rose to 489. I know this is still very low. Have to return in a few days for another test, but what do you think going on?

I think you may have retained some of the placenta :( 489 is too low for it to still be the same pregnancy at this point.

Though if you've had sex since your bleed it is possible that you are pregnant again?

I'm sorry you've had to go through this and if it is not possible for you to have conceived since then I advise you get medical help as you may need a procedure to remove what is left.
