Hello! I'm new to mumsnet and am having trouble deciphering some of the shorthand used in threads ...DP, CS, DH, DD (ok, surely that's Due Date?!)...and I'm sure I've seen others too! Anyone able to dispel the mystery please?!! Thanks

Dear partner, c-section? Dear husband, dear daughter.

Due date is usually EDD.

What is naice?

icklekid Tue 15-Apr-14 20:41:40

I thought ds2 was a 2nd son not a reflection of his age?

GingerRodgers Tue 15-Apr-14 21:35:41

Oops sorry meant second son 3 years old need to learn to proof read messages blush

Naice originated from a shopping list (I think!) someone found that listed nice ham, as opposed to what I've no idea. Think it means 'posh' on here.

Raxacoricofallapatorius Tue 15-Apr-14 21:44:58

ilovepowerhoop Tue 15-Apr-14 21:46:24

AF = Aunt Flo = your period

FarToGo Tue 15-Apr-14 21:48:01

In my world AF means Atrial Fibrillation, on here it means your period....
