Is an underwired tankini too much to ask?

Hi, has anyone ever seen or bought an underwired tankini from anywhere? I'm going on holiday in a month and all the tankinis I've tried on leave my boobs round my waist. I'm guessing that since some would say you shouldn't be wearing a wired bra in pregnancy that maybe no one does them but thought I'd check. Don't really want to wear a bikini as I don't want to expose my bump

Well, underwired bras are fine. But speciality maternity stuff almost certainly won't be. Come to think of it, I've never seen an underwired non-maternity tankini. Maybe just look for one with one of those built in vest tops?

I've never seen an underwired maternity tankini but depending how many weeks you are and how big your bump is you might be able to get away with a regular one. Freya do some lovely ones and Debenhams have some in their fuller bust range Gorgeous, figleaves.com have some good stuff too. You are perfectly fine to wear an underwired bra during pregnancy and don't listen to anyone who tries to tell you otherwise BUT it has to fit properly. I work in lingerie and I'm currently 36 weeks, I've worn wired bras all the way through, find them far more comfortable than none-wired maternity ones and my boobs are up where they should be!

I had one when I was pregnant, just from tesco in a size too big, underwired and lasted me until 36 weeks when I stopped swimming

Yes it's too much to ask. As is bra sized maternity swimwear in big (G-K) cup sizes. Bastards.

Yy, "high street" tankinis don't normally have underwires, it's hard enough getting ones with straps rather than halter necks.

Bravissimo are good for non maternity swimwear but have no interest at all in doing maternity swimwear. I know this because I emailed them earlier in the year.

It's not underwired but I have a very sturdy maternity tanking from JoJo Maman. It has one of those built in shelf vest bra things and nice thick adjustable straps. I think I'm a Gg cup at the moment and it's nice and comfy!

You can also try an underwire bikini top underneath a maternity tanking. I've done this with swimming costumes in the past and it looks ok!
