Hi Ladies, Trying for our first - been overly thirsty, bloated, constipated &had implantation bleed and cramps 1st and 2nd and due on tomorrow and got period pains now! Hoping that's all they are! Can that happen I guess is my question?? Did my first clear blue digital this morning and came back negative - which was heart wrenching!! Just been and stocked up on Tesco cheapies to do daily as read on here they are more sensitive.

So here's to hoping that I don't get my period.

Reading all the threads has helped from all you mummy's!! This is my first post so apologies that I don't know the 'lingo' yet.

Thankyou

Hey Hun, I didn't have any bleeding or implantation bleeding, but I had horrible period cramps and I assumed I wants preg because of that. I took the test to early and it came bk neg. it took a first response one on the day after my period was due and got my BFP.

It's hard to say every women is different. Just hang in there and don't be to disappointed if it comes back negative.

Good luck hope you get your positive tomorrow :D

Do it first thing on morning too first pee is always best :)

Yeah I had them about 2 days before I was due on. And they were a lot more intense than normal. But I was on hoilday at the time and not at work so I don't no if I was more aware of cramps if that makes sense. Keep us updated :)

I've had period cramps (or what feels like them), for the whole almost 15 weeks. Still seem to be pregnant.

I didn't have implantation bleeding and I constantly felt like my period was coming. My biggest sign was bleeding gums when brushing, I suspected I was pregnant at 7DPO (days passed ovulation)

Took me about two weeks to get a BFP after my period was due, needless to say I had given up hope but was oh so pleasantly surprised! Must've ovulated super late. Now 23 weeks. Thirst was one of the first symptoms for me. Really hope you see that beautiful positive soon xx

That's so reassuring to know. Had another negative today - a lot less disheartening with all this advise. Still got 'period pains' but stopped during the night and back this morning. I'm going to wait till next week now to do anymore. I work on a secure MH ward so deal with aggression and stuff so want to know more so I can moved too! Impatient me!! Thanks again for your support .xx

please try not to.get into daily tests! from what you've said, you are not pregnant this.month so don't waste time and money trying to convince yourself otherwise

chances are it'll happen when it happens - good luck

Optimism right there for you!! Until I come on my period I'm holding out hope. As I've read above this is perfectly normal so why shouldn't I be hopeful. Thank you for your thoughts though.

I had implantation bleed which I though was a period lol n then nothing, got my first positive 10 days late tho.. Even clear blue give me negatives until the tenth day

I really wouldn't waste your money on daily tests, you will just stress yourself out everytime especially if you get continuous negatives age that is obviously not good for you or baby if it transpires you are indeed pregnant.

Good luck :)

I'm not trying to be negative with you - would you rather be given false hope? You sound like you're about to start your period and you've had negative tests - therefore ... You're unlikely to be pregnant.

I aha the above with kindness. Honestly, don't stock up on tests etc... Just see how things pan out and give it time. Easier said than done but an easier option that it consuming your life
