Possible show? (sorry TMI)

Apologies for the TMI in advance!
I'm 37+3 with my first baby. For the past two days I've had a really thick (snot like) clear/milky discharge which has been a bit different to any other discharge I've had during pregnancy.
This morning I had to quickly leave Sainsburys as I thought I'd wet myself a little bit but it was discharge.
Does a show always have to be bloody or can it be clear and can you loose it over a few days?Or maybe I'm getting a bit excited and this is just usual pregnancy discharge?

The only bit I saw (midwives must have dealt with the rest Blush) was a big blob of clear snot like goo. Nice!
I have heard it can come away in bits over a few weeks but it can mean the start of things
Good luck!

The day before my waters went I had a big totally clear lump of jelly in my underwear. I never saw a bloody show just this.

I'm now 24 weeks with DC2 & had the same thing 2 weeks ago. I called MW & saw sent to hospital as was told it's quite a common labour sign. Thankfully at this early stage it wasn't for me, but at your stage if say go to sleep your baby is making it's way into your arms!
