I'd really love to talk to others who are following slimming world. I gained five stone conception to birth with my little girl and I'm still carrying the extra three stone. Don't get me wrong I'm not looking to go down a dress size lol I just don't want to gain more than is Healthy.

I was doing it for a while but gave up. I will go back after the birth. I don't find it too difficult to follow in normal life but I found pregnancy harder because of going right off fruit and veg in the first few months and then cravings later on. It is a healthy diet though and approved by midwives. Good luck! :-)

Hehe yeah I was on it last time when I got pregnant and used to have baked potato and beans every day for lunch and then went right off baked beans so that was the end of that. I was on weight watchers and had to give it up when I got my BFP. I'll see you on the other side :)

I'm sort of halfheartedly doing it but not going to a group - partly financial reasons currently and also due to attempting to occasionally glimpse DP around his shifts, frantically trying to revise for exams and being in the process of moving I have no idea when/where I'd go! Determined to start again properly (group and everything) straight away after baby boy appears (late July hopefully). For the moment I'm sort of in the same boat as you - had lost a couple of stone before getting pregnant and am now just trying to avoid putting too much back on. Unfortunately revision is chipping away at my resolve not to live entirely on biscuits... Blush

Revision will do that to you nods sagely. I'm not doing classes either, too expensive. Sounds like you have a lot of stress right now :( I get annoyed at people laughing and saying "haha you won't get any smaller now" and it's like...thanks. I'm aware of that, I just don't want to gain another five stone >.< why don't people understand 'eating healthily' isn't that easy for people who struggle with their weight?

Yes things are a little bit stressful... Last exam is two weeks before due date so just praying he stays put and I actually get a bit of time to organise everything! But yes - I've had a fair amount of the 'but what's the point' too. Along with an awful lot of alternating from DM, among others, between Mrs. Doyle-esque 'go-on-go-on-go-on-go-on have another cake or six - the baby needs it!' and suspicious glances at whatever I'm eating along with 'I thought you were trying to keep a handle on your weight... but that's PASTA(or insert other SW-allowed but not conventional 'diet' food item)!'

Just do what you can. I've vaguely stayed on plan. I lost the 3 stone I gained with my last pregnancy with SW just before I got pregnant again and I was keen to not gain as much this time.
I've not been to group as I didnt want to get weighed or pay for it. Fallen off the wagon a fair bit with takeaways and sweet stuff but I'm 37 weeks now and haven't gained anywhere near as much as last time.
