Weight gain at 20 weeks?

I'm 20 wks and weighing myself about every 3 wks at the moment; 5'5" and normal weight is 9 stone so reasonably slim. Bit shocked to find out I have put on 6 lbs in 3 weeks so 11 lbs in total. I know my baby has had a recent growth spurt but wow! I'm not too worried (although hoping I don't get massive!), just wondering what other peoples weight gain was like at this stage...

I started off fairly slim too. I'm now 18 weeks and have put on 12 pounds, very unevenly! (10lbs by 10 weeks and then just 2 lbs more in the last 8 weeks.)

I'm now 34 weeks, and have weighed myself each week. My gain has been very uneven - I lost weight in the first tri due to morning sickness, then put on a chunk in about a week, sometimes I gain about a pound a week, some weeks 4lb, some weeks I lose some. Don't forget that you are now holding so much fluid, so that accounts for most of the weight!
I have found this calculator very useful to reassure me whether I'm in a good weight range at different weeks www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/homeopathy-product-recalled-over-fears-it-may-contain-actual-medicine-9217206.html

I started off at a similar weight to you (just under 9 stone) and by 20 weeks I had gained 1 stone. I didn't gain very much in the 1st trimester but then gained quite rapidly from 13 weeks. Was a little worried after finding out (through a pregnancy phone app!) that I was pushing the upper estimate for recommended weight gain but I now trust that my body is doing what it needs to do and my appetite has increased so I give it those extra calories and don't feel bad about it. I'm now 24 weeks and 10 stone 3lbs so gaining about a lb a week roughly. It sounds like you're right on target anyway but even if you're not, don't pay too much attention to guidelines as they really are just a rough guide and every woman's body responds differently in pregnancy. Just trust that your body is doing what it needs to do :-)

I'd gained half a stone by 21 weeks. There's a big range of what's considered 'normal' though, and I don't think you have much to worry about there!

I've only put on 4lbs and I'm nearly 19 weeks

I'm 18 weeks and have put on 11 lbs. ~5 lbs of that was during the first trimester, so roughly 1 lb/week since then.

I've used those calculators, and it looks like I'm right at the top end of the weight gain they recommend. But, on the other hand, the NHS says the average is 22 - 26 lbs and most of this is after 20 weeks! If that is the case then I have definitely put it on too quickly!

You are right in track. And will gain more.
