Hello everyone

I am going to be 23 weeks tomorrow. Starting to have flutters, not loads and can't pick up pattern yet but I do have an anterior placenta so think that might have something to do with it???

Anyone else a bit anxious about things? I am a natural worrier but I do worry about work and money all those sorts of things. Anyone else the same??

Hey OP. I am 26 weeks with an anterior. I am such a worrier so feel your pain.

I'm feeling regular movements now but sometimes the baby is obviously hidden behind the placenta as the feelings are muffled. Ended up in triage only yesterday as was worried but they were so kind and monitored me.

If in doubt phone your midwife or labour ward. Don't be embarrassed.

Likewise with the anterior placenta ... I'm 26 weeks and still haven't managed to establish any sort of pattern of movements or anything. Always worried about it when I don't feel any movement for a day.

I'm another with anterior placenta. I tried so hard to feel something ANYTHING for weeks and weeks. I didn't find out where the placenta was until the 20 wk scan, but for a couple weeks before that I was panicked thinking there must be something wrong as I had no flutters, nothing I could confuse with indigestion, etc. then for a few more week there was nothing, but every now and then when I wasn't paying attention I would think I had just missed something, but when I stopped every ing got concentrate I'd get nothing!

I went from absolutely nothing to quite concrete movements at about 25 weeks. It's still not quite as pronounced as other people seem to get, but I definitely feel movements now at 30 weeks. I did go into the day assessment unit at my hospital for monitoring when I was worried I hadn't felt her for a day or so, but everything was fine.

Also, some babies are just more chill than others!
