DD kicked me in the belly

I'm 15wks pregnant. Last night DD (3yo) was very unsettled with a sore throat so I slept with her. At some point this morning she gave me an all-mighty kick in the belly, right where the baby is. It was not terribly painful, the pain felt more to the outside of the belly where she made contact rather than the inside (like contractions pain for example), but she has totally freaked me out!

It doesn't hurt at all now two hours later, tell me to stop being a wuss!

At 15 weeks baby is still very small and very protected by your body. I wouldn't worry too much, but if you get any bleeding or cramping perhaps get yourself checked out. Try to relax, you should be fine. :)

Ds (then 6) jumped onto my tummy at around 12 weeks, I was lying down and he hurled himself at me. I was terrified that it had hurt the baby, but she was fine. They are pretty well protected in there, and have all the amniotic fluid to cushion them too.
It's completely natural to worry, but the baby will probably be fine! Definitely get checked out though as Koothra says if you have any bleeding/cramps.

My son used to always kick me in the belly when he slept, I also crashed my car at 20 weeks and they weren't overly concerned due to baby being so protected Smile she was perfect xx

Thank you all! Still feeling fine and no bleeding! It's stupid how paranoid I get when I am pregnant, normally I am fairly rational person!
