I'm 11 weeks in my 3rd pregnancy now and my jeans are no longer doing up comfortably. I have never been able to find decent petite maternity clothes regular maternity tops will fit but trousers have been impossible so end up in leggings the whole time. I'm 5ft 2 (just) and size 14. Can anyone recommended somewhere I could find nice jeans/trousers.

I've found new looks under the bump jeans have been pretty good for me. I'm just over 40 weeks but have been in them since 14 weeks. I'm normally a 12-14 anyway, but they fit my legs nice and it's only been the last couple of weeks that they've got uncomfy but im just grinning and bearing it. h & m do some nice tops Smile

Hi, I have a pair from funmum (online) they do a 28" leg which is perfect for me, also 5'2". Most other petite ranges go for 29" or 30" which are always too long!

I've just recommended these ASOS jeans on another thread but they're super comfy and come in lots of different lengths and colours. I'm 4ft 11 and the short ones are a bit long for me so probably perfect if you're anything up to 5ft 4:

Isn't it strange how people seem to assume you get taller as well as wider when pregnant?! Wink

Believe me inbloom, as a tall person there's no one catering for that either! Maternity clothes are generic to the extreme!

Do you know anyone who's handy with a sewing machine? I got a pair of new look over bump jeans, cut off a few inches and reseamed them to be just the right length. Even if you have to pay to get them taken up, it might be worth it.

greentshirt I can believe it Smile It's like maternity clothes makers think we all grow/shrink to a generic size and develop the same sense of style as well. Can't believe how unflattering and downright ugly some of the mat clothes are!

I have just bought some in primark of all places! The maternity jeans are fab, I am 5'2 also and they fit really really well. I have created a pregnancy shopping video about what I bought if you fancy a peek :)

I got a couple of pairs of New Look under bump jeans on EBay and they fit pretty well (short length). I also got some mothercare petite trousers last time around for work which have lasted really well and are just right. Other than that I've had trousers taken up.

Tops wise, I find that ones with ruching on the sides are much more flattering and fit better than other styles. I got some Next t-shirts on eBay recently that are just hideous - they're like tents. I can't imagine they'll look good on anyone taller either!

I'm 5'1".

Thankyou everyone I went to h&m today and got 2 pairs of over the bump jeans the under bump ones looked horrible on me. I will need to have them taken up. Annoying that clothes designers that thing short or tall people have babies.

Topshop have a range of leg lengths, and a maternity range, try there!

Next do different lengths in maternity trousers/jeans.

Me23 see above, in your petite bubble, they don't cater for talk people either! Count yourself lucky you can get them taken up, I can't magic up extra inches of material!!

I'm also petite and couldn't find any mat trousers small or short enough to fit and stay up - jeggings in normal sizes (non maternity) turned out to be the answer! There are loads in the shops too in all leg lengths and colours, plus because they are stretchy it doesn't matter if they are a bit long as you can push them up a bit. I went up a size from normal and that did me til 8.5 months when bump was just too big! They are also v handy for after the birth Smile

Hey, I'm 5ft 3 and found Topshop to be the best bet for maternity jeans as they have different leg lengths.

Feel your pain though - I bought a skirt online from New Look and it came up to my bust! Have resorted to non maternity skirts with elasticated waists for now.
