Hi K13, I don't think you can work out the gender from symptoms. sorry! Some say that lots of sickness can be because you're having a girl, but then I wasn't sick at all, just nauseous, so was certain I was having a boy and am in fact having a girl. You've a 50% chance of being right which ever way you bet, though!

I havent been sick once in either pregnancy and i am about to have DD2. I didnt find out I was pregnant until 9wk last time (surprise baby) this time i knew within days of conception. This time i have craved salt last time i craved sweet. I have had a tiny bump both times and not put on much weight. My bump has been fairly low both times. Last time the skin on my face was horrific and this time its cleared up though has been a little dry.
I honestly think there is no colloration between symtoms and gender, every pregnancy and every woman is different.

I've been told by 100% sure people "sickness means a boy" and "sickness means a girl". Regional/cultural variations proving it means nothing!

You'll have to wait for the scan I guess. :)

I predict a girl.... Or a boy.
But definitely a baby! Grin

Have you looked at skull theory and compared to your 12 week scan?

Right from start i had a instinct we made a l man in there....as time went on i stuck to the old wives tale of boys carry more at the back and girls carry more at the front as i didnt start to show until 18wks. Needless to say i was right :D could not mistake the winky on the screen as he stuck it in the air lool then flashed his arse at us :p i still dont have much of a bump compared to alot of women at 23wks. Do you have any instincts? My hormones were very strong this time and i was very ill in the early weeks, didnt subside till 13, but i was off all food up u til about now. I still get times where i dont feel i can eat anything. I have gone off anything with pastry or chiken, and dont have any cravings as such lol i just get worried when i dont feel him move some days compared to others, as ive felt him wriggling since 13wks. Are you hoping for any specific? We wanted a lil boy but love our baby mno matter what gender before we found out xx
