I've not long found out I was pregnant again, I MC in December at around 5 weeks. Got doctors this week but (sorry to be so upfront) discharge has increased (a lot) today and I have noticed a few times there has been a few (strands?!?) of blood in it. It's not like last time when there was small amounts of blood that was like a period. Discharge is still clear so no tinge to it. But is this normal I really think I will give up if I have another miscarrige don't think I could cope with the possibility of it happening again!

What a horrible scary thing to be happening to you, don't panic it could be lots of things and the fact that it's just bits of string is good. With one if mine I had similar and spoke to nhs direct nurse who said it could just be bits of old blood left up there ( sorry bit graphic!) also implantation bleeds can happen at around this time.
I would keep and eye on it and speak to midwife or gp and see if maybe you can get an early scan to reassure you everything crossed for you hope everything settles down.

Thank you! I did think that but was starting to panic as last time I had awful cramps then had bleeding like the start of my period which this one isn't like that at all I feel bloated and my sense of smell and taste has kicked in so I guess that's a positive sign?!? Otherwise symptoms surely would start to decrease not increase :s x

Get your gp to refer you to your local
Epu

I had this and I'm now in hospital with an ectopic pregnancy. Sorry I hope it works out for you!

Def think that's a good sign as I said on the other thread I've had three early losses and there was no mistaking what was happening, also heard that some peoples cervix can bleed a bit during pregnancy doesn't have any effect on the pregnancy but must be very scary apparently having a poo (straining) can make it happen or sex.

Sure everything will be fine you sound like you are having all the right symptoms! Good luck :)

Sorry to hear this- I know how stressful it can be. First thing in the morning you need to phone your local EPU or contact your GP (depending on whether your EPU accepts self referrals).

Please try not to stress too much. Early pregnancy bleeding is very common and does not mean that MC is inevitable
