I'm 5 weeks, well 5 and a half weeks pregnant with my first baby :) I am so excited and nervous. I did have a miscarriage early January this year and was lucky to get pregnant quite quickly again. Need some advice from people that are in their early stages of pregnancy. Sorry if (its too much info) I've been having mild discharge, is this normal? if i have been bending down,my tummy hurts? I've had on and off tummy pains, they not cramps but aches, they come and go, is this normal? i have had nausea and being dizzy, know that this normal. Weeing all the time, waking up in the night about 2 and 3 times to go and very bloated which is normal. I have gone off coffee. My midwife appointment is in April, will be 9 weeks when i see her. Thank you x

Congratulations !!!!!!

Hi everything you have described sounds totally normal, I'm 9 weeks with my fourth and think I've had pretty much all of your symptoms at one time or another!
The discharge is really common I think almost everyone gets it and unfortunately it is here to stay! Ive always found it gets worse towards the end. My tummy always feels really tender in the beginning I think it's just everything stretching and mild on and off cramping or aches really normal too.

Watch out for the Spider-Man sense of smell too I can spot a bad smell half a mile away! ;)

No probs I know it's really hard to relax especially after you've had a mc, I've had three early mcs and can never really relax until 12 week scan but I try to think that I've got a much higher chance of everything being ok than of something bad happening. Good luck I'm sure you will be fine and try and stay positive :)

Snook- for me the smell and taste thing usually settles down but there are some foods that I have not been able to eat all the way through, with dd1 the smell of Chinese would make me heave but with dd2 I craved it sooo much! Pregnancy does some very strange things! :)
